Consultation for memorial services and graves

Jorakuji is a very rich land surrounded by the sea, mountains and rivers of Akiya and Ashina in Yokosuka City, and the Buddha statue, which is an important cultural property of the country where Unkei was statued, is enshrined as the principal image. Since many worshipers come to the temple and are busy, we have received many inquiries about graves and memorial services in recent years.

What is the permanent memorial service of the Jodo sect?

It is a memorial service up to the 50th anniversary of being an ancestor.

Those who have a grave in Jorakuji and want to become a religious belief

Club Ichidokoro = Meet with Amida-sama's Sukhavati Jodo, as a reminder.

Jorakuji is a temple of the Jodo sect. To Amida Buddha, in honor of the Buddha of "Namu Amida Buddha" from his lifetime, I will teach you to lead Amida's country "Western Paradise Jodo" when life in this human world is destroyed. The Pure Land Buddhism, which was founded by Honen Shonin, returned to complaining and became the Pure Land Buddhist Gate. We never complete our training in this human world. I am full of my own life. I understand that I am a human being who cannot reach the end of the Buddhist path, and ask Amida for help. In addition, it is said that only the Western Paradise Pure Land is a Pure Land where those who had a relationship in our lifetime can reunite with each other. Let's work hard to prepare for the end of our own life that will surely come.

The grave is already in the reien, but I want to ask for Buddhist affairs

Club Ichidokoro = Meet with Amida-sama's Sukhavati Jodo, as a reminder.

It's okay to put the bones in the reien, but it seems that there are many people who want to think about the memorial service later, so we receive many consultations asking for a memorial service while holding the grave in the reien. Since Jorakuji is a Jodo sect, denominations during his lifetime are not a problem, but he will become a member of the Jodo sect and will offer a memorial service to Amitabha under his principal image.

I want to put the bones of a family who has already passed away in a permanent memorial tomb

Club Ichidokoro = Meet with Amida-sama's Sukhavati Jodo, as a reminder.

Speaking of graves, the shape of the XX family has been common for generations. However, in recent years there has been a problem that no one will inherit the grave. For example, even if they have children, their daughters will marry each other, and they will be married alone, have no successor, do not want to get married for the rest of their lives, and live alone due to circumstances. Even if these people ask for a grave and their relatives visit and take care of them at first, most of them are unrelated if their generation changes. In addition, some people have no choice but to take over the bones of their estranged relatives and seek a memorial service.

The Jorakuji Eiyo Memorial Pagoda is a [combination grave] where an unspecified number of people are laid together, and Toyama will take responsibility for the memorial service for many generations. There are no problems of inheritance, no ties, etc. in this grave.

1.

  • From 150,000 yen per spirit as a supplementary fee

Four.

  • Send a temple newsletter to those who wish, and guide the segaki and the pagoda at Toya.

* As a general rule, there is no problem even if there is nothing because the memorial service is held at the temple up to the 50th anniversary.

2.

  • Pay a permanent memorial service fee

・ (50- (years of recollection of each spirit)) x 10,000 yen ~ * The memorial fee is 10,000 yen per year (every year, a memorial service is held at the equinoctial week and the segaki picture)

Five.

◎ Since the memorial service is held every year at the temple, there is no obligation to give an annual memorial service, but if you wish, you can do so.

◎ Temple newsletter can be sent if desired.

3.

  • Hold a bone-laying ceremony on the day of bone-laying

・ If there is no Dharma name

6.

◎ A memorial service will be held at Segaki, Toya, Higan, etc., and the stupa will be turned around if desired.

I want to put my pet's bones in the pet grave

Pets are members of the family. I think it's a pain to have a member of my family passed away.

A pet memorial tomb was erected at Jorakuji Temple so that the owner would not regret it so that he could see him off properly.

Some owners blame themselves. I can understand the painful feelings. People who keep pets hard and love them will think so. However, like human beings, death is destined to be irresistible no matter how hard it may be.

If your favorite owner is sad and blames you, your deceased pets will be sad too.

Let's bury a member of the family in a pet grave and visit as a place where you can talk "Thank you for spending time with us" and "It was fun, I'm glad I met you".

1.

  • Bone payment fee 20,000 yen

  • Ishiya fee 3,000 yen
