Visit Unkei Buddha

Touring the Miura clan

Maejima Hisoka Tomb Visit
Hisoka Maejima, the father of the postal service, settled in the precincts of Jorakuji Temple and named it the villa "Xu Xu Sanso". The tombs of Mr. and Mrs. Maejima in the shape of Mt. Fuji are enshrined on the hills of Jorakuji Temple. "Letter visit," "thank you postcard," and "letter memorial service" are held after Maejima Hisoka.

From 15:00, we will strictly train the Toya Buddhist memorial service at Jorakuji Temple. Limited red stamp in autumn. Visiting Buddha statues other than Kaichō
Admission fee Adults 500 yen ~ / person Elementary school students and younger 0 yen ~ / person
If you make a reservation at least one week in advance, you can worship from one person other than opening the book. If you have more than 10 people, you can request a commentary on the Buddha statue by Unkei by the Okusu Eco Museum Association and a commentary on Maejima Hisoka, the father of Japan Post. You can explain the view and history of the Buddha statue in an easy-to-understand manner, so you can rest assured even if you are visiting for the first time. You can know more deeply.
* Admission reservations are accepted between 10:00 and 15:00.
* We do not receive payment for admission from those who have the principal image.
* We will refuse to worship in the rain at our discretion. note that.
* Please make a reservation for worship at least one week in advance.
* We do not accept viewing of Obon and equinoctial week.
* No reservation is required to visit the precincts and main hall. Reservation is required to see Unkei Buddha.
